Overview

This database management system was built using React JS and is hosted on Supabase. Internal General Motors employees are able to search for specific vehicle products or features by filtering or typing in the search bar. Breadcrumbs were used to aid user navigation at the top of each search. The search bar supports lowercase inputs to ease user searches. By computerizing the company's vehicle data from the highest level of product to the lowest hierarchy of part number, search and retrievals via the database reduced manual programming for +1,000 stakeholders and resulted in a 30% improvement in engineer-to-execution workflows.
